Cancellation & Booking Policies

At B.U Salon & Spa, we do our best to accommodate you. If you have to cancel or change your appointment, as a courtesy to other clients who may need an appointment please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.

*** For services requiring more than 2 hours booking time, we request a non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment and 48 hour notice of change. ***

Terms & Conditions of Deposits:

Payment of deposit means you, the client, have agreed to the following terms:

Your booked appointment time will be confirmed upon receipt of deposit. We will open up the appointment slot for another client if we do not receive your deposit at least 72 hours in advance of reserved booking, . Deposit is non-refundable and will be forfeited should you no-show or cancel within 48 hours of appointment time. Should your appointment be rescheduled with more than 48 hours notice, deposit will be transferred to the new appointment date.

Hair chemical services, micro-pigmentation & Lash Infusion services require a $100 deposit.

Hair extensions or colour corrections require a $200 deposit.

COLOUR  TERMS & POLICIES

CONSULTATIONS**

Consultation is required for balayage, colour corrections, going from dark to light, and vivids (green, blue, pink, etc). Please contact us to book a complimentary consultation so we can provide a general pricing quote.

PRICING

Our pricing structure is based on each stylist's experience level and specialty. Prices shown reflect the base price with a New Talent. Extra costs will incur for substantially thick, long and/or previously coloured hair based on consultation. The pricing quote can vary based on factors that may affect the services required to achieve your goal. (Ex: Unexpected previous colours in the hair, excessive mineral build-up from swimming or well water, excessive damage from previous services, etc.)

COLOUR ADJUSTMENTS & AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS

No shampooing for a minimum of 48-72 hours after your colour service (5 days or more for silver or pastel tones; please note that silver and pastel tones typically do not last more than 3-5 washes depending on the depth & tonality).

Please contact us within within ONE week of service for a colour adjustment. For adjustments made after this time period or if you change your mind about the desired outcome, full service charges will apply. No refunds.

We cannot guarantee your colour service should you not use our recommended home care products or a professional salon grade shampoo & conditioner.

No purple shampoo should be used within 4-6 weeks of colour service. It will prematurely fade blonde toners.

We recommend no swimming after any colour services as chlorine or salt water will fade all colour immediately; as will direct sunlight. No colour adjustments will be made. A chelating treatment such as Malibu Crystal Gel will be required prior to your next colour service with us due to possible adverse chemical reactions from chlorine.

We kindly ask that you adhere to our recommendations for best colour longevity after you leave the salon.

DEPOSITS

To accommodate your colour service our stylists reserve a large block of time exclusively for you. We request a deposit to hold your spot at least 72 hours prior to your reserved time. Without receipt of deposit we will open up that reservation for another client.

$100 non-refundable deposit required for colour services.

$200 non-refundable deposit required for corrective , balayage, and hair extension services.
